I have been putting together all of my work to date and have been making sure that I have annotated my sheets accordingly. I have also been working on a few things to try to make sure I have incorporated and thought about all of my aims so have been using Rhino to create objects and have been re-working the Pythonscript coding in Rhino and saving the files into a library for later use as I identified within my conclusion.
Experimenting with Laser Cutting File
I have been really keen to further explore how I could work with the laser cutting files further and so I used the gills patterns and added them onto the basic front block in Illustrator, then imported as a pattern and selected the internal shapes and converted them to holes, I was really pleased with how much better the CLO3D software dealt with this and wanted to explore this further so I opened the Floral design and repeated the process to create an interesting garment on the avatar. Instead of cutting the internal holes away and removing the pieces I converted the shapes to holes, this seem to be a better way of working and I didn’t find the software to be running slower. I gave the pieces a fabric quality of leather to be able to attain a structured look and further added a print which I had previously created using Rhino and Illustrator and set the properties to iridescent. I really like the combination of the Avatars skin with this garment and to improve the overall look of the rendered image I have added a rectangular piece of fabric into the scene which I have held in place with pins, I have further added a print which again was created in Rhino and Illustrator.
I am starting to really understand the power of being able to combine all the software’s in order to achieve interesting and quicker results and now that I understand how to use the laser cutter maybe it would be good practice to work within CLO3D to finalise any ideas before moving again to the laser cutter.

Animating in CLO3D
I have been experimenting with importing an avatar file from CLO3D and adding it to Mixamo which is a site were you are able to add animations to the avatar. To set up the avatar you have to upload a character then set up the structure by placing points onto the avatar, you are then able to add an animation file. The file can then by downloaded and used within CLO3D. I am yet to understand how to use the file within CLO3D.

Making a Video Clip
I have created animation files in CLO3D with the butterfly garment were I recorded multiple angled files. I used the animation files to create an edited version using DaVinci Resolve which is an film editing suite. I have used some effects like mirroring and also added music to the clip. I have posted the file on my Instagram estellepearce3DFashion.
Rhino & Blender
I have been working in Rhino where I have been re-inputting the codes from the tutorials. I have chose to do this to attempt to create a library of objects and shapes which I will hopefully be able to use at a later date. with some of the outputs I have also used the extrude tool to create objects that can be used in further programmes like Blender and CLO3D. I am really excited by some of the patterns and objects that have been created and feel strongly that I will be able to use these in some way.
I have been following a few further tutorials to try to understand how to create objects without needing to use coding and have been happy with what I have managed to create.
Starting to think about a Final Image
I have started to think about putting together a final collection of images with some of the garments that I have created by incorporating some of the learnt skills and developments.
