Hand In!!
I have officially handed in all of my work for Module 701!!
Rhino and CLO3D
I wanted to explore working in Rhino without the use of coding and so have been following tutorials to help me understand how to do this. I have been really pleased with the outcome of the spiral coils and could instantly see how these could be placed around the body. I saved the file as an obj and imported them into CLO3D where I was able to position multiple spirals around the avatar. I have then altered the material to have iridescent qualities and further added the butterflies which I created the previous week.

Final Image
I have put together a collection of avatars and garments which I feel best represent the work and progress for the module. I am really pleased with this final image and feel that it displays clearly my learning and development. It nice to reflect on this image as I can see how far I have come in such a short timescale. The collection is only for development purposes and it will be good to see how I can take these new learnt skills and technologies into the next modules where I aim to create garments which will be more considered.
The images show how
- I have been able to use Rhino to create objects and patterns
- I have developed my pattern cutting skills in CLO3D
- I have use other programmes like Illustrator to develop prints and the patterns on the avatars skins
- I have use illustrator to create laser cutting files
- I have progressed in CLO3D in; working on laser cutting ideas, 3D printing creations and also I have developed my learning for creating an environment to showcase the collection where I have included the use of lighting and backgrounds.
